ive agriculture priority
i thought priority should be given to agriculture by granting farmers subsidy of those implement necesary for the production of essential food crops to avoid man going into extinctionsamp
Global food shortage
I THINK THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SHOULD FOCUS MORE IN TRYING
UTILIZE THE LAND THAT ARE AVAILABLE IN POOR COUNTRY e.g SOMALIA
UGANDA AND OTHER NATIONS THAT FACING FOOD SHORTAGE.IF MORE ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THIS COUNTRIES BY PROVIDING FARM EQUIPMENT
SOIL FERTILIZER AND OTHER PLANTING MATERIALS THAT CAN BE USED FOR PLANTING. WITH THIS IT CAN MINIMIZE THE MILLION OF DOLLARS
THAT IS MOSTLY DIRECTED TO THE BUYING OF GOODS FROM FARMERS.
no so easy
I think that the main objective in tyhis situation is to find a way to buy some more time. Because even with most advanced crop`ping an procesing tech, extracting is the problem. We are extracting and never returnig elements to earth, soil will end useless and water will drain out, and unless humans would find the way to turn excrements into fertilizer, we are lost. (sorry about my english)
global
YER BRO GET SOME KEBABS WITH HAMOUS AND WHERE READY FOR WAR
More grains per drop of water
Water is the key to food production. It is becoming more and more scarce. The mean total rainfall over the years has not changed much, but distribution has changed drastically. We have neglected the collection and fruitful use of the rain water, we have destroyed or polluted many water-storing structures such as lakes, tanks, rivers, etc. Many lakes and tanks have been flattened to build housing and industrial infrasturcture in all developing countries including India and China. We have blocked all natural drains in the name of development, leading to flooding in one region and drought in another region. Overexploitation of groundwater is another serious problem. As long as we allow a large percentage of the rainwater flow away into the sea, we cannot do much to increase food production. We need to improve water-harvesting, reserve 10% of the farm land for farm ponds to store rain water, and use all water effectively for crop production, and recharge groundwater, revive rivers, fill tanks and lakes, etc. Hope sanity will prevail among leaders and planners so that we can turn the crisis into an opportunity to get enough water and food for the growing population.
re:Global warming is awesome
ummm.... I am not sure if I agree with you on that... because when the icebergs melt, WE WILL ALL DIE!!!!!!! When all the trees get torn down, WE WILL ALL DIE!!!!! And if the world becomes a huge trash dump because people don't recycle, WE WILL ALL DIE!!!!!!!
Im serial dude
saving the world
i think and beieve that we can go a long way to save the world by doing what i call reorganising our world.
first by stoping the gas flaring which depletes our ozone layer which lets the sun's full ray into our environment thereby killing our crops
secondly by sensitizing the people on the need to go on commercial farming
also train peope who would teach the people ways to farm for a better crop yeild
form associations that will help to the growth of this initiative.
