attack the real problem 2
I meant to write "take back our industry FROM China, Mexico, and the other countries". This is what we need to do!
attack the real problem
Stop complaining about the lack of funds and the black plight and fight the persons and crap that cause all these dang problems. Have any of you yelled at our fake American government to stop giving our jobs away to foriegners and that it is a lie that third-world people are here doing jobs that we weren't doing! Have you cryed out to make those beast in the White house take back our industry for China, Mexico and others so we can have jobs and wealth again here instead of making foreign countries rich! You need to start fighting to stop those monsters from sending OUR money to help foreign countries and building them up while they are destroying America and turning us into trash and still telling the whole dang world to come over here and live in which they are not supposed to do! Start doing these things and problems will be addressed!
HBCU'S
I am a former student of Hampton University. I ejoyed my educational experience there. I also favor Historically Black Colleges/ Universities. The attention you receive there is far more different than a traditional institution. If you are a miniority;it is best to attend a HBCU. The professors know the struggle; because they too experienced the challenges. They are qualified to counsel on urban issues; as well as other issues.
Moreover; lets not leave out the awesome bands, and athletics; not to mention the frats and sororeities. There is nothing like it.
I am currently attending another school, but will be transferring to a HBCU next year. I am looking forward to teaching at a HBCU in the near future.
Thank you for this opportunity

RE:Affordable college
If you cant afford college then look toward programs that are dirt cheep or free ones that are usually managed by the US gov. like some of the SUNY schools, Union Institute of Tech ooor the United States Military Academy--who's tuition is $O.00
Aid for spelman
Malika,
I am past president of the Howard Club of St. Louis. I am also a Clark-Atlanta Grad. I suggest that you review web sites like www.blackstudents.com, www.uncf.org and www.blackexcel.org for good information about scholarships and other resources. Also, contact your local Spelman Alumni Club, along with local churches and fraternities/sororities. Feel free to contact me personally if you need additional info. Good luck!
Affordable college
I recommend that students select affordable, accessible institutions in proximity to their homes. This recommendation is based on my personal and professional experiences gleaned from years of HBCU missionary service as a dean, vice president and president.
