School Funding

Why doesn't Ohio look at encouraging this kind of innovation for their schools? And why don't they look at the 87 O(hio schools that are in the top ranked high schools and find out what makes them special and copy some of those things? Maybe some taxpayers would be interested in helping in specials ways rather than just continuing to have their property taxes raise each year with no visible improvements in the school systems?

Walnut Hills High School

I graduated in 1972 and now teach history at the University of Virginia. Every once in a while, a Walnut Hills graduate will enroll in one of my courses. I'm happy to say that these much more recent graduates are living proof that Walnut Hills' tradition of excellence is alive and well.

Another Proud Alumnus

I echo those comments. I graduated in 1981 and to this day think that my experience at WHHS was the most significant educational experience of my life. That's why we continue to financially support the school. We have seen the great rewards of a quality education.

Walnut Alumni

This school is amazing. I am a graduate and continue to be successful in all of my endeavors!

Keeping us great

The foundation is an amazing force for good in our school - helping us to stay strong and autonomous within a system that, at times, seems oddly disinterested in helping us stay great. Thank you, and congrats!

Great education for the price.

walnut hills high school

As a teacher in Columbus, Ohio it always gives me great pride to be able to say that I graduated from not only the best high school in Ohio, but one of the best high schools in the United States.

Walnut Hills High

I have been singing WHHS praises since graduation and lately since I am now trying to find an academically challenging program here in Prince Georges, MD for my soon-to-be high schoolers. I am a WHHS graduate and have always valued the education and have participated as an alumn.

I plan to share this article with P.G. school board in hopes that someone would seriously look to developing a premire High school for the county.

go Eagles!!

Walnut Hills High School

Sursum ad summum!! I always tell my husband that I graduated from one of the best high schools in the country, and I am so happy that Walnut Hills continues to be one of the best!
