why not teach every child
I have heard horrible story of charter school turning away children with learning disibilities. What right do they have. There job is to teach all children not the ones that will keep there school in the high ranking. There not all as good as you think when it come to who they want in there school
What criteria is used to rank charter schools?
As a teacher in an awesome charter school (Rapoport Academy in Waco, TX) I would love to know what criteria US News and World Report assembles to rank schools.

I believe that a charter school is better to attend due to the flexiblity of the cirriculum. My charter school is a smaller one, and therefore it is easier to recieve one-on-one attention from the staff.

List of Charter Schools in Dallas

The first comment ('of'?) seems to be from someone trying to discredit charter schools. The comment is riddled with grammatical and spelling horrors. One can only conclude that this was a deliberate slur, as the writer claims to be attending a charter school. It is not profanity as such, but it is profane nonetheless. It should not have been run. It is mean-spirited, and its insinuations are clear.

I didn't realize that it is possible for a charter school to be an open enrollment school. I see that Idea College Preparatory in Donna, TX appear on both lists.
