Charter schools are public schools that have been released from some of the regulations governing other public schools as long as they succeed in meeting the criteria agreed upon in their original charter. Charter schools tend to have limited enrollment and usually accept students through an application process. What criteria is used to rank charter schools?

As a teacher in an awesome charter school (Rapoport Academy in Waco, TX) I would love to know what criteria US News and World Report assembles to rank schools.

Charter Schools

I believe that a charter school is better to attend due to the flexiblity of the cirriculum. My charter school is a smaller one, and therefore it is easier to recieve one-on-one attention from the staff.
