Ernest Babich stuck around , and transformed the place.

A very wise man, the great music teacher Robert Geary of San Francisco, replied to someone who asked, "How do you make a difference, how do you have an effect?". Bob's answer: "You have stay around for a long time and work at it."

Ernest Babich has built something he could only dream of when he started. I presume he just started doing something he believed in and enjoyed, and then stuck with it becasue it never lost its charm for him, and looking closely, he could always see a need. Lucky school, lucky kids, lucky Babich!

This was an interesting article.
