Please let me know how can I find NC best high schools
First off, it's the Connecticut International Baccalaureate Academy, not the Center International Baccalaureate Academy. Secondly, this school deserves a Gold rank, not a silver--by no means is the college readiness index of 35.7 at all accurate. A friend of mine who is now a freshman at Georgetown University told me that it is, presently, easier than CIBA--this is the response of many students who graduated from CIBA about the college they are attending. The reviewers need to consider IB courses, not just AP courses in the "college readiness index." I'm in my second year of taking all IB classes, and personally, I think I will be overly prepared for college. Please fix this rating!
The US News HS ratings are insane.
Is the number one ranked college football or basketball team a team of wheelchair bound students. No, the number one team is the team that performs the best. There is a simple way to rate High Schools. How many of their graduates are accepted at top US Universities. For most students today, HS is a preparation for post secondary education. It is logical that measuring the absolute number and the percentage of the senior class accepted at a group of designated top Universities is the best indicator of the quality of the students of a particular High School. The US News ratings are totally laughable.
