Graphic design, industrial design and interior design do not all fit into a single category called design. Likewise, animation, gaming, interactive media and digital image making are now major areas of productivity but do not fit neatly into the broad category of multimedia and visual communications. perhaps it is time to refine this and create new categories for new media.
