How One Class Got to College

A look inside the college admissions process for several high school seniors

Your path to college is unlikely to be quite the same as anyone else's. To help you get there, we asked eight students from the class of 2009 at Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet High School in Nashville to talk about their own experiences. The school, which serves grades seven to 12, is ranked one of America's Best High Schools by U.S. News. Last year, 98 percent of its graduating seniors went on to four-year colleges.
