Posted November 3, 2008

You've answered our call to make a video about what makes your school special. The entries were informative, creative, funny at times, and inspiring. U.S.New s & World Report wants to thank everyone who participated in sharing their college experiences with students from around the world.

In alphabetical order, here are the 10 most viewed videos during the contest viewing period of August 29 to October 31.

These finalists will now be evaluated by a panel of U.S. News judges and a grand prize winner of a Spring Break Trip for Two from STA Travel will be chosen. The judging period as outlined in the official contest rules will end on Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, and the announcement of the winner will be made on or about Nov. 12, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. EST. Unfair advantage

I have been following this contest because I was hoping SUNY Delhi would make the finals, so I am disappointed and perplexed to find that several of the finalists are videos that had been posted on YouTube months before the contest was announced, have little or nothing to do with the theme and are obviously promotional pieces that already existed and were just plugged in to get them extra exposure.

BIOLA

Biola has over 4,000 students who are an amazing community dedicated to the love of Christ and the alumni and parents viewed the video too. Sorry you're jealous of our fan club and that our video is amazing!!

Biola

Seems kinda fishy that s school as small as Biola can get over 300,000 views. I've never understood the concept of using "viewing windows"... too easily manipulated.
