Completely Biased

Why are all the top schools the top schools in every catergory? This is ridiculous and non objective at all. I am sorry, but unless you want your child to be brainwashed, Harvard, Columbia, and Yale are NOT the best schools to go to period. Just look at the controversial guest speakers they have had to offer! I think you should re-evaluate the criteria you use for grading these colleges because you do not give every fair college and university in this country a chance. E

The SAT scores given here are out of 1600 total or 2400?

Only about university and college.

Can I know the rank of Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structure biology, cell biology, drug and abuse and so on like graduate school rank????(Why there isn't rank of these?)

Why there isn't the rank of only biotechnology?

I also want to know rank of drug psycology and pharmacy psycology.

I think at least there should be a list of natural science biology.(or biochemistry, drug, molecular biology and biotechnology)

Could you explain the Tier system and why Oglethorpe is a Tier 3 school?

I signed up for the hard copy and online version. it's been 3 weeks and i have not recieved by hard copy and there is NO WHERE on the site to track my order. the schools have completely changed ranks, some have dissppeared from the list oompletely, how could a school that was ranked in the top 10 values not even show up on a list this year??? (The College of New Jersey). SAVE YOUR MONEY, do NOT sign up for the premium version, they take your money and run.

The definition of Tier.

I see so many comments about the factor 'Tier', but can not find one good/clear explanation/response. I am making an assumptions that a Tier 1 school is better (education wise) than a Tier 2 school and so forth. Is that assumption correct?

This is not what I expected

We subscribed about three years ago when my son was researching colleges. We thought it was great, so I signed up again now that my daughter is nearing graduation. This is not what I remember. I remember being able to put in search criteria and coming up with several schools that matched what we were looking for which you could then evaluate side by side. Either I haven't figured out how to get there yet, which is a site design problem, or you got rid of the feature. And what happened to colleges ranked for conservative values? I do not feel this was worth the money.

How do you find a school with a major your are looking for? I want to study animal science or equine studies but don't know which schools offer that major.
