Illegal Immigration

My comment stems not from hatred of any people; but legality. How fair is it to people who apply, pay,go through all the classes, wait in liness, get jobs and ACTUALLY pay taxes to have rights and access to public programs, and do the right things to become a citizen.if illegals can come here for free, not have to learn English and be given access to public programs, education, the right to hold a driver's license. It does not make sense, we by default of not enforcing the law are in fact rewarding these people for doing wrong, while giving no encouragement to those people that despite the hardships chose to do the right thing. This is not a hard concept to understand.We should favor everyone that chooses to do the right thing and go through the legal process to become a U.S. citizen. Almost all countries in the world have a deportation laws for a reason no economy can handle an unlimited number of people especially those that are not accounted for and don't pay taxes. I don't care who comes to the U.S. I relize all of us are immigrants from somewhere, however I don't support illegal immigrants having access to public programs because they are breaking the laws of the U.S. No more than I think criminals should have the same freedoms as non-criminals. What would be the sense in doing the right thing if I can do the wrong thing and still benefit, and why not do the wrong thing if there are no consequences. How many more thiefs would we have if they just got to keep what they stole and didn't go to jail, more than likely alot more, Just like we will have alot more illegal verses legal citizens in this country because there is no enforcement of the law. This just encourages further breaking of the law; soon no one will apply for citizenship, why would they waste their time when they can break the law and get it for free anyway, go to schools, hospitals, do whatever they want what. It's not like the have a social security number that the government or bussiness's can tract. No bad credit score for them. Excellent Benefit.

Hey Tanya you are the clear example why the rest of the world hates people from US, I wont say American because I consider myself as American as you, this why America is a continent not a country, the word America comes from a romance language, SPANISH is a romance language, NOT english. CALIFORNIA was part OF Mexico, read the word again, you may notice it is not an english word at all. How you want to prohibit Spanish language in that state?, it is nonsense, it is like stopping english in Washington DC. I do not think you know about social classes, you are complaining about a low social class of immigrants, there are also so many hispanic american immigrants with culture and knowledge in this country. All this issue about not letting illegal immigrants to get a higher education is SHIT, i think Caucasian american are no scary of seeing more people , not the same ethnic race, being successful. Hispanic people from Europe and America is one of the most BEAUTIFUL groups in the world, CULTURE AND LANGUAGE .

I admit to being an illegal inmigrant currently living in CA, and although i pay taxes and have never EVER asked for medical assisstance; i agree with you, agree that you should unite as a single nation and kick us (inmigrants of course) out of this wonderful country, a country of opportunities. I'd like to say that I have witnessed personally the opportunities given to a couple of friends whom entered the country

legally. For me, coming to de USA was a personal choice i was only 15 y.o(young and stupid) now at 23 i do wish to go back

You obviously don't pay attention to what you read do you? I'm not stupid I realize that MANY others besides immigrants take advantage of government programs. But that is not the POINT. The point is if you are here illegally you don't qualify for ANYTHING. Do you have blatant disregard for the law? Just because someone crosses the border they automatically assume they have all the right in the world to everything the country offers. If you don't pay taxes YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE COUNTRY!!! Don't tell me immigrants don't live 10 or more to a house I see it everyday because there are plenty that live here. My ex-boyfriend owned apartment buildings and rented out to hispanics and other low income illegals. I've SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES HOW MANY LIVE THERE. I have worked with hispanics and haitians and half of them don't speak ENGLISH and if I have to communicate with them to do something they don't have a clue what I'm talking about. That makes for great customer service. You're mother not learning the language is just laziness on her part. She is not brain dead any one can learn over time, at least, to communicate and be understood if they BOTHER to try. But no, if she needs any kind of service we should have a translator available so she can understand. The naturalization process IS THE FRICKEN LAW, DO YOU NOT GET THAT? I've lived in this country all my life and was born here I know VERY WELL what is involved in the naturalization process. You obviously believe that you should be able to go around the law just because it takes a long time and costs money. So lets let the WHOLE WORLD IN SHALL WE? Who cares were they come from or what their purpose is. We can train more radicals for example, to fly planes and destroy a few more high rise buildings in another major city. Just let everyone in WHO CARES. We'll take care of the whole frickin world. Lets let all the drug runners across the border while were at it. The fact that you are willing to settle for a low paying job is ignorance and laziness on you're part. You obviously don't feel you are worth enough to make more money or you are to lazy to learn the additional skills to obtain a higher wage. I lived in the state of California when the hispanic community was pushing (closer to demanding) that Spanish be the official language. EXCUSE me California is not in Mexico. You tell me, if I go to you're home country, what will they do for me? Will I be able to get a job if I don't speak the language? Will I be able to buy a house? If I have 3 or 4 kids will they give me government assistance? Like I said before there is nothing on the Statue of Liberty that says we guarantee your success and happiness. There are plenty of illegals demanding it though. You might learn that if you bother to watch the news.

I really don't care what country you come from, if you come here and don't want to learn the language, don't support the country you live in, happily take advantage of medicaid, welfare, food stamps, housing, all of which comes out of my taxes, and you contribute nothing to the country that you live in, I say GET OUT!!! I'm tired of paying a fortune for my health care when illegals get it for free. I'm tired of hearing I have no sympathy. Sympathy for what? I get to support illegals, and what are they doing to support my country? What a slap in the face to all the people who take the time and effort to do what is necessary to become a legal citizen. Why should they even bother when the rest don't have to. The immigrants that originally came here through ellis island came and worked hard and built businesses and contributed to the neighborhood and society they live in. I am sick to death of hearing that I need to learn spanish, haitian, ect. to communicate with them. It is now MY responsibility to make sure I ACCOMMODATE them in every way possible or I am a racist. If I went to their country would I receive the same support, highly unlikely. This country has no identity anymore. You cannot make everyone happy, it is an impossibility there is to much diversity. I have no issue with diversity, however I have issues with different races acting as though we now OWE them and are required to accommodate them as though it is a God given right. There is NOTHING on the Statue of Liberty that says we GUARANTEE YOU'RE SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS come on in. You have to work for it just like the rest of us. Yes, my ancestors came from Europe, yes we all know english, yes we all work and pay taxes, no I have never taken a dime of government assistance. I am 40 yrs. old and have worked since I was eighteen, sometimes two jobs. I am sick to death of hearing they do the jobs that we won't do, Oh yea, I agree they do the jobs that we won't do ANYMORE because they have driven the wage level so low no one can afford to take the job. Sure I can take that same job for $6.00 an hour but I really don't want to live in one house with 10 other people. Because they accept that wage, and they do because its more than what they make where they are from they drive down the wages. How does that help me? I AM SICK TO DEATH OF SUPPORTING SLACKERS AND LAW BREAKERS. I have no issue at all with immigrants coming in the right way and contributing to the society and supporting the country they are so willing to drain benefits from. If you can't at least learn the language, get a job and contribute GET OUT!
