Test Your Golf Game—No Clubs Required

Among its links, the City of Roses offers Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, an 18-hole course nestled among gently rolling terrain at the base of the Tualatin Mountains, and Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club, a 36-hole course just outside of wine country. The city is:

4. Bonita Springs, Fla.
The legacy of Joe Jemsek, known as the patriarch of public golf, is evident in this city, including Cog Hill, which features the world-famed Dubsdread, a public 18-hole course that has hosted 16 PGA Tour Western Opens (1991-2006) and the BMW Championship (2007, 2009, 2011).

Among this Lowcountry community's golf offerings is an Arthur Hill-designed par-72 course, set on the historic site of an antebellum plantation amid 200-year-old live oaks draped with Spanish moss.
