John McCain's ties to corporate money came under intense scrutiny today in a New York Times story suggesting that a telecom lobbyist received favorable treatment from the Arizona senator. The senator this morning denied any improper relationship with the lobbyist. Last year, in a story titled "Straight Talk and Cold Cash," U.S. News reported that an "analysis of his 25-year legislative career shows he has been an avid seeker of special-interest money to support his campaigns and initiatives." more >>
