It’s just like the Dr. Seuss book. Sort of. After the Grinch ruins Christmas by stealing all the little tots’ surprises, he merrily returns the presents Christmas morning to the children of Whoville. In the same fashion, Facebook’s Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg apologized Wednesday for the online sales-tracking device that apparently revealed some of its users’ Christmas and Hanukkah surprises and changed the system so that Facebook users now have to opt in.
